Originally from Grayshott near Hindhead, Surrey, I moved up to Banbury with my wife, over 13 years ago when I joined a Software House, Pierce Management Services in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. Since being up here, I have been fortunate to have more than generous bosses in Tim and Jill and very patient wife, Sue, who lets me get down to Pompey and then suffer the consequences of my depressions (mainly) or euphoria (occasional) afterwards. Even worse for Sue is that our eldest boy, Matthew 11, has now got the Pompey bug, well and truly and has become a season ticket holder this year - North Terrace Lower K107 + K108. My 8-year-old Lewis is also itching to go as well, but we tell him there is no room in the ground yet so he will have to wait until the new stadium is built. Six years ago we moved to quiet Northamptonshire village of Woodford Halse (between Banbury and Daventry just off the A361) and had another boy Connor George in February 1999. We will continue on the way to a Junior Pompey 5 a side team in the near future.

I have followed Pompey since September 1967, Rotherham United 1-1 when John Milkins and Bobby Kellard were my heroes and have seen the Blues play on nearly 70 grounds since then.

Week in, Week out we prove that we have the BEST FANS IN THE COUNTRY and I am very proud to be one of them.

When I started putting this site together, I wasn’t too sure what to do with it so I started looking around at other Pompey sites to get some ideas. I soon realised that with my knowledge of HTML , I would be hard pressed to get anywhere near the quality of most of the sites I found and that could provide a better service for Pompey fans by creating a page of links to these excellent sites.
